Donald Trump Shows Up as LPGA Star’s Wedding Guest While Nelly Korda, Lydia Ko Send Love & Support

For LPGA fans, Daniela Holmqvist is known as “Spider Woman.” Who could forget the 2013 incident when the Swedish golfer was bitten by an Australian redback spider during a pre-qualifying event ahead of the Tour’s opener? She proceeded to extract the venom with a tee and then proceeded to play the next 14 rounds of golf. Although she did not qualify, she earned her nickname there.

Holmqvist played golf at Tulane University initially before transferring to the University of California, Berkeley. She turned professional in 2012 and officially became a part of the LPGA Tour in 2016. Since then she has been a regular on the Tour, earning two top 10 finishes and 11 top 25 finishes during her career.

She has so far featured in one tournament so far in the 2025 LPGA season, the Founders Cup. She missed the cut there but has since then not played in any tournaments. Why is that? That could be because she was preparing for her wedding.

She got engaged to Charles Schick almost 1.5 years ago. “Yes!!! Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend! I love you ❤️ 💍,” wrote the delighted golfer at the time. The couple recently tied the knot in a very high-profile ceremony in Florida, which was attended by some very choice guests.
