Korda has long established herself as one of the game’s best players with multiple major wins, LPGA Tour titles and an Olympic Gold medal.
She is from a family of sporting stars, too. Her sister Jessica Korda was a top golfer herself, while her father is the former Australian Open tennis champion Petr Korda.
Meanwhile, Korda’s younger brother Sebastian is also a professional tennis player.
And it turns out that Korda’s boyfriend is from an elite sporting background, as well.

Nelly Korda’s boyfriend is understood to be Andrea Athanasiou, a Canadian hockey player who has played for the Chicago Blackhawks.
Athanasiou has also played for the Los Angeles Kings, Edmonton Oilers and Detroit Red Wings.
Korda and Athanasiou have been dating since 2019 and have been spotted supporting each other at their respective sporting events.
However, the duo do keep things private so little is known about their relationship in public.
Athanasiou was in the crowd for Korda’s fifth victory on the LPGA Tour, the Meijer LPGA Classic at the Blytheville Country Club in 2021.
The duo were pictured celebrating with Korda’s trophy afterwards and have since celebrated several of Korda’s other wins, too.
